Sign PDF

Draw or type a signature and place it on your PDF — built and signed locally in your browser, so your document is never uploaded.

How it works

  1. Drop the PDF you want to sign.
  2. Draw your signature, or switch to Type and pick a style.
  3. Choose the page, position and size for the signature.
  4. Place it and download the signed PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Can I draw or type my signature?

Both. Draw it with your mouse, trackpad or finger on the signature pad, or switch to Type and pick a script-style font for a typed signature. Either way it's exported as a trimmed, transparent image before it's placed on the page.

Is this a legally-binding digital signature?

No. This tool stamps an image of your signature onto the PDF — it does not create a cryptographic or legally-certified digital signature, and it doesn't verify your identity. For contracts that require a certified e-signature, use a service designed for that.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is opened, signed and re-saved entirely locally in your browser using JavaScript — your file is never sent to a server.

Can I place the signature on any page?

Yes. Pick any page of the PDF from the page selector before placing the signature — the preview updates to show that page.

Can I resize or reposition the signature?

Yes. Use the size slider to scale it, and the position control to snap it to a corner or the center, or choose Custom and drag it anywhere on the preview.
