GIF Maker — turn images into an animated GIF
Drop a set of images, put them in order, and set the frame rate, width and loop — the animated GIF is assembled locally in your browser with no upload and no server involved.
How it works
- Drop two or more images, in the order you want them to play.
- Reorder or remove frames, then set frame rate, width and loop.
- Press Create GIF, then download the result.
Frequently asked questions
What images can I use?
JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF. Drop two or more in the order you want them to play — you can reorder or remove any of them before creating the GIF, and there's no fixed limit on how many you use.
How do I set the speed?
Use the frame rate slider (1-30fps) to control how fast the images cycle — a lower fps holds each image longer, a higher fps flips through them faster.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Your images are decoded and the GIF is assembled entirely locally in your browser — nothing is ever uploaded, and the files never leave your device.
Can I loop the GIF?
Yes, and it's on by default. Turn off "Loop forever" if you want the animation to play through once and then stop on the last frame.
Why is my GIF file so large?
GIF is limited to 256 colors per frame and stores each frame's own color table, so it isn't nearly as efficient as a modern image format. Fewer or smaller source images, a lower max width, or a lower frame rate all shrink the output.
