Can I rotate by 90 degrees or a custom angle?
Yes — rotate left or right in exact 90° steps with the buttons, or drag the straighten slider for a custom angle from -45° to 45° to level a crooked photo.
Does rotating lose image quality?
Rotating by 90°, 180° or 270° with no straighten angle is pixel-exact for PNG and WebP. JPEG output is always re-encoded, and any straighten angle or flip requires resampling, so save a copy if you plan to rotate the same image many times.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The image is decoded, rotated and re-encoded entirely in your browser using the Canvas API — it never leaves your device.
Can I flip or mirror my image?
Yes. Use the flip horizontal and flip vertical buttons — they combine with rotation, so you can mirror a photo and then rotate it in either order.
What image formats are supported?
