Watermark PDF

Stamp a text or image watermark onto every page of a PDF — set the opacity, angle and whether it tiles across the page — all processed locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. Drop in a PDF — it's read locally, never uploaded.
  2. Choose a text or image watermark and set its color, size, opacity and angle.
  3. Optionally tile the watermark to repeat across the whole page.
  4. Apply, then download the watermarked PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Text watermark or image watermark — what's the difference?

A text watermark stamps a word or phrase you type, like "CONFIDENTIAL" or "DRAFT", using a chosen color and font size. An image watermark instead places a picture you upload — a logo, for example — on top of each page. Switch between the two with the mode toggle.

Can I control the opacity, angle and tiling of the watermark?

Yes. Opacity and rotation sliders apply to both text and image watermarks, and a tile checkbox switches between a single centered mark and a repeating pattern that covers the whole page.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The watermark is applied entirely locally in your browser using JavaScript — your PDF and any watermark image never leave your device.

Does the watermark apply to every page?

Yes. The same watermark, sized to fit, is stamped onto every page of the PDF you upload, then the whole document is exported as a new file.

Can I remove the watermark later?

No — the watermark is drawn directly into the page content when the PDF is saved, the same way a printed stamp would be. If you need an unmarked copy, keep your original file and re-run this tool from it whenever you need a fresh watermarked export.
